As React applications grow, design systems often become fragile—loosely typed, inconsistent, and hard to maintain across multiple projects. This talk demonstrates how to build a robust, type-safe design system using React, TypeScript, and pnpm workspaces. Attendees will learn how to design strictly typed component APIs, implement patterns with generics, and use Zod for runtime validation of props and configuration. The session includes a live demo showing how to package and share a reusable UI library across applications using pnpm, ensuring consistent styling, behavior, and developer experience. By the end, you’ll have a clear blueprint for scaling a design system that is safe by design, easy to evolve, and ready for enterprise-grade reuse.
